March 1st
The month on Jura was coming to an end so we visited the beach for the last time.
Toby had a run...
... and a chew.
And I set the self-timer on my camera to 10 seconds and took a wonky goodbye photo.
March 2nd
I took a final couple of snaps from the Islay ferry looking across to Jura.
One of the Paps was disappearing into the clouds.
The Foelin Ferry look tiny across the water from Port Askaig.
Toby was carried on and off the ferry in his bed.
It was an easy journey to Dom and Nic’s house south of Glasgow.
March 3rd
We met the new arrival, Max.
It was Ava’s second birthday.
We took her to ballet class and had a lovely breakfast with Dom while Ava was dancing.
Eggs benedict on buttered muffins with black pudding. Yum!
In the afternoon Ava had a party. The house was full of babies and toddlers.
So I took Toby and Ginty for a walk.
Ginty is a great little Staffie.
On Sunday March 4th we packed the van and set off down south. We called in at Manchester on the way and took Alice and Andy out for a meal.
It was lovely to see Alice - her photographs for the degree show are looking GREAT!
We got back to Cheltenham at 10:30 and had a cup of tea.
